**APPRENTICE PAINTER**

All Maintenance QLD Pty Ltd are currently looking for an apprentice painter to join our busy team. We pay above award rates

This person will need to have great customer service as the homes we service are anywhere from being brand new right up until the 12-month mark so cleanliness, precision and attention to detail are vital for this role.

Working alongside qualified and skilled painters you will gain valuable hands on experience, mentoring and support. Given the specific industry that we are in you will also have the opportunity to learn different aspects in Maintenance as you will also be working alongside our other tradesman which are qualified carpenters, plasterers and tilers. The ability to expand your knowledge and experience is endless as we can provide you with the opportunity but you will need to show the initiative and motivation to want to learn.

We service all areas from the Gold Coast up to the Sunshine Coast, so travel is expected with the job however in saying that we will always try and put you on jobs that are closest to you first. You must possess an Industry Construction Card (White Card) & Drivers Licence and having a utility vehicle or van is essential for this role.

**The work varies and no two jobs are ever the same The main duties would consist of**:

- Sanding / Prep surface areas
- Painting / Minor plastering
- Gap filling / Sealing
- Staining / Varnishing
- Touch ups to cracks throughout
- Door Replacements and Fixtures
- Pick ups and deliveries

**To be successful you will need to have the following**:

- Be a confident communicator
- High level of attention to detail
- Motivated with a genuine interest in the painting industry
- Be trustworthy and reliable
- Car and licence
- A white card
