**That's where you come in...**
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the direct management and coordination of all planned and unplanned maintenance activities executed by shift Maintenance trades on site, whilst maintaining compliance to Safety and Quality standard. In a highly collaborative role you will be partnering with the on-site Maintenance Planner and Stores Procurement Officer to scope labour and material resources, action any potential corrective maintenance activities and coordinate the weekly maintenance schedule.
Working in with the Engineering and Reliability Manager to identify methods to reduce reactive maintenance and unplanned downtime recurrence by leading, coaching and mentoring Maintenance trades in best-in-class maintenance and continuous improvement practices.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Lead maintenance team to ensure the effective implementation of the maintenance strategy to maximise efficiency and productivity
- Ensure the execution of safety and quality assurance practices into all repairs and maintenance activities and manage corrective actions in a timely manner
- Drive Real Pet Food Co’s asset management standards through execution of the site Maintenance strategy
- Execute the maintenance plan with ongoing measurement of performance
- Implementation of reliability improvement strategies and practices through the analysis of Maintenance key performance indicators
- Partner with the Site Maintenance Planner to ensure successful implementation and execution of the maintenance plan
- Identify continuous improvement opportunities in the areas of Equipment Reliability, Energy Management, Waste Reduction & Lean
- Hold team members accountable when they fail to meet Quality and Safety practices
- Manage the team to meet expected performance using coaching, delegation and recognition
- Hold trades teams accountable for achieving expected outcomes, delivering goals and results and take action when team members fail to meet Quality and Safety practices
- Provide and maintain systems of work, and working environments that are safe and without risks to health.
- Extensive experience as a Maintenance Supervision within the FMCG industry
- Experience managing the day-to-day activities of the maintenance team, you will also be required to be hands on when the need arises
- Working knowledge of best practice maintenance management & systems
- Proven leadership skills with capability to manage multiple tasks (including multiple priorities and/or breakdowns), while holding self and others accountable
- Demonstrated experience in coaching, mentoring or leading trades teams in root cause analysis (RCA) and failure modes effect analysis (FMEA)
- Ability to coach and develop, monitor and measure performance and provide direct feedback to multi-disciplinary trades teams
- Mechanical or Electrical trade qualifications is essential
- High Risk permits such as Forklift, Confined Space Entry and/or EWP is desirable
