Studio Manager

We're currently looking for a full-time Studio Manager to join our operations department in managing our studio space and facilitating our team, whilst also leading in furthering LoG's well regarded inclusive and collaborative studio culture. You will be one of the most critical people in the studio, ensuring our rapidly expanding team has the best work environment humanly possible.

As Studio Manager, you will have a number of managerial and operational responsibilities that support the Studio Director and Leadership Team, whilst working within your department to carry out general, sophisticated and confidential administrative duties. You will be assisting the day-to-day running of the studio, ensuring smooth operations and facilitating your peers across all departments in delivering upon our games' ambitious commercial, critical, and cultural objectives.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years professional experience working in a similar role.
- Experience in the creative industries.
- Great organisational and project management skills - both for yourself and supporting others.
- Exemplary leadership skills; especially in navigating organisational crises and inter-personal challenges with calm, humour and grace.
- A commitment to working in a professional, inclusive and supportive environment.
- Ability to work independently; managing time, task lists and workflow with ease.
- Excellent communication, creative collaboration and teamwork skills.
- Detail sensitivity, an eye for aesthetics and strong game design sensibilities.

**Responsibilities**:
As Studio Manager here at League of Geeks, you will manage the day-to-day studio operations:

- Daily management of studio and site operations, maintaining a healthy and functional work environment for the whole team.
- Manage internal resources and external services (facilities, maintenance, suppliers etc.) to maintain a healthy and high functioning work environment.
- Help foster positive company culture, organise team building exercises, social events.
- Coordinate studio and departmental meetings, travel, external events, trade show appearances and all associated reservations and accommodations.
- Oversee general office operations, including but not limited to keeping inventory, maintain all non-IT resources and purchasing (comparison shopping for equipment, supplies, resources, etc) required for the team to work effectively.
- Alleviate company directors and producers of general organisational studio admin including leave calendars.
- Support the operations team with its initiatives and ad-hoc projects, including general studio operations, people initiatives and process improvement upon the business requirements
- Uphold and conduct work within the standards and procedures of the company's Code of Conduct and company values.

**Important Stuff**:

- Base remuneration on offer (excluding benefits such as superannuation) is between $85,200 - $117,000 p.a AUD. Base remuneration is dependent on experience and expertise of the applicant.
- We've temporarily transitioned to a hybrid working model. We plan on returning to our Melbourne studio in the next 12 months.
