We have been engaged to provide resources to our customers Murex program. This is a long-term project that will involve the deployment, configuration, and management of Murex software for various business needs.

As a Murex Environment Management Consultant, you will join an established client team within the financial sector that is fully involved in the project initiation through to project implementation.

**You will be responsible for**:

- Deploying and managing Murex software needed for Murex client’s projects using Murex tools and scripts
- Performing environment deployment and management operations
- Performing basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products
- Acting as a first-level support for already deployed Murex products, re-directing, and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
- Using Murex configuration management tools to import/export configuration items and analyse related issues
- Performing database sanitization and purging procedures
- Involved in project deliverables related to your domain of expertise
- Handling project deliverables end-to-end
- Setting the required organization that ensures it’s done according to the specifications agreed with the SL and completed timely
- Business requirements analysis and specifications writing
- Configuration, testing and validation
- User assistance

**To be successful in this role, you should have the following skills and qualifications**:

- 7+ years of relevant experience in Murex configuration and environment management
- Scripting (Perl, awk), SQL, Unix XML, RDMS operation
- Good understanding of Murex services, launchers, log files, end-of-day, DataMart, and job scheduling tools
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree or qualification
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ** FULL working rights in Australia**

The following skills and qualifications are desirable but not essential:

- Understanding of financial markets
- Knowledge of DevOps and AWS
