The Department of Customer Service (DCS) is looking for an enthusiastic and team-orientated individual within the Corporate Services Procurement Team. The successful applicant will support DCS Corporate Procurement to provide expert advice in procurement intelligence, from a range of data sources, through business analysis, cost modelling, reporting, and performance analysis to inform procurement decisions, support performance improvement, and to enable stakeholders to meet business needs and expectations.
The role is to provide a range of specialised procurement advice and services to agencies within the Department.

This position involves working in a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to grow and develop in a supportive and collaborative team. The right applicant will be a team player willing to hit the ground running, who can work autonomously and as part of a team.

**About Us**
This is an exciting opportunity to work in our Corporate Procurement Team which services the DCS cluster. The team sits within the Corporate Services Division of DCS, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer for DCS. Corporate Procurement has three functions within the team: Business Partnering, Sourcing, and Centre of Excellence. This role sits within the Centre of Excellence team and reports to the Senior Manager Procurement Excellence, who reports directly to the Chief Procurement Officer.

**Your responsibilities will include**:

- Partner with key stakeholders to determine their business needs, and provide high quality procurement reports and insights to inform procurement decisions
- Contribute to the development of innovative procurement and category management strategies, policies and processes to achieve enhanced compliance outcomes
- Proactively identify, manage and provide advice on political, commercial, contractual, operational, financial, reputational, ethical and supply chain risks to meet organisational obligations and maximise business opportunity
- Develop, assess and provide reports for the effective management of supplier performance and to track and report on benefits delivered
- Document procurement processes, decisions and contractual arrangements to conduct audit trails and reporting
