**About the Organisation**
Our client is a highly regarded and industry-leading organization in the traffic control sector, dedicated to delivering exceptional services and maintaining the highest standards of client satisfaction. As they continue to grow and expand their operations, they are seeking a skilled and professional Head of Operation & Growth to join the team in Queensland. This key role will play a pivotal part in ensuring operational excellence, promoting safety, and driving the achievement of strategic sales objectives.

**About the Role**
Reporting to the State Operations Manager Traffic, the Head of Operations & Growth holds a crucial position within the organization. Your primary responsibility will be to effectively plan, lead, and control all traffic control operations across Queensland, while maintaining a steadfast commitment to promoting a zero harm safety environment. Additional responsibilities include:

- Develop comprehensive plans and strategies to drive traffic control operations across Queensland, prioritizing safety as the cornerstone of all activities.
- Lead and motivate a team of Works Supervisors, providing guidance and support to maximize their performance and ensure the effective management of personnel and workforce size.
- Collaborate closely with Works Supervisors to ensure contractual and client task requirements are met, while exceeding expectations and maintaining client satisfaction.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of Quality Management Systems, company policies, and regulatory requirements, ensuring strict compliance to create a safe and effective work environment.
- Enhance the profile and reputation of our organization by providing operational control and effectively promoting our services to achieve strategic sales objectives.

**You will ideally bring the following attributes to the role**:

- Proven track record and substantial experience in traffic control operations or a related field, preferably in a managerial capacity.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to consistently achieve targets and operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
- Thorough knowledge of Quality Management Systems and regulatory requirements relevant to the traffic control industry.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding sales targets and delivering exceptional service.
- Strong multitasking abilities, enabling effective prioritization and management of multiple tasks in a dynamic work environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and relevant certifications in traffic control operations including Traffic Control License (Level 3 or 4) and Construction White Card.
