OX2 Technical and Commercial Management (TCM) is now looking for an Asset Manager to manage our client’s renewable energy assets, initially focusing on Solar. You will have a very important role in our Asset Management team, where we strive for long-term and efficient growth of the management of large-scale renewable energy assets. This position will be based in Melbourne.

It is one of the largest renewable energy asset managers in Europe with a track record of more than 15 years and Technical and Commercial Management contracts for 4.8 GW renewable energy assets. **Working as an Asset Manager in OX2**

As Asset Manager you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day business within your area of responsibility. The role is part of a multidisciplinary team responsible for managing utility scale solar assets on behalf of our customers, providing the full breadth of technical and commercial asset management services.

The role will focus predominantly on the operation of utility scale solar farms and will have exposure to other parts of the project life cycle (development and construction). There is also potential for exposure to storage and wind assets through the evolution of our development pipeline.

**Your main responsibilities**:

- Ensure efficient and proactive operation of the assets together with experienced colleagues through planning, analysis and follow up,
- Supervise O&M contractors and external consultants involved in preparation and execution of the Operation and Maintenance activities to ensure operations and maintenance performance targets are achieved,
- Prepare asset management reporting for customers in accordance with relevant agreements,
- Be the customer manager (main POC) and coordinate communication and relations for their assets.
- Develop our long-term relationship with our customers through a proactive delivery of services based on their requirements,
- Manage and follow up on all contracted services for the assets. Lead procurement and re-negotiations of contracts with suppliers when needed,
- Prepare budget and forecasts for the customers and provide monthly updates,
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements applicable to the operation of renewable generators in the relevant jurisdiction.
- Develop mitigation strategies for technical and commercial underperformance and proactively seek out improvements to assets that maximise value for customers,
- Act as the point of contact for authorities, AEMO, CER, landowners, local stakeholders,
- Promote a culture of compliance focused on health, safety, and the environment,
- Manage all technical and commercial risks associated with renewable assets under management,
- Coordination and management of technical investigations that may involve third party experts, contractors/suppliers as well as legal advisors,
- Plan, budget and follow up on activities for the customers’ asset,
- Participate in initiatives for process development within the asset management team,

You have at least 3+ years relevant work experience. You are a self-starter, driven and committed individual with a high sense of ownership for what you do. You are a strong communicator, well organized and have the leadership skills to manage high-quality delivery for our customers. You can manage competing priorities with the support from knowledgeable colleagues. You are comfortable being the link between the business and the technical perspective.

- Relevant tertiary qualification with a technical and/or commercial focus,
- High level of written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to effectively interact with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders,
