**About the Role**

Reporting directly to the M&A Manager, the Investment Analyst will be responsible for pre-deal valuations for acquisitions and developments, assisting with deal execution from due diligence and excel based valuation modelling to preparation of investment committee papers and facilitating settlement. You will be supported by a team of three Senior Investment Analysts, an M&A Manager and Chief Investment Officer. We are one of the largest dedicated corporate M&A teams in Adelaide.

Responsibilities of role include
- Execution of due diligence
- Preparation of financial modelling
- Assist in preparation of investment committee papers
- Assist in management of relationships with valuers, vendors, and property agents
- Check valuers’ workings to obtain best valuation outcome
- Generate and review cash flow forecasting calculations
- Assist in the preparation of monthly Board Reports
- Various ad hoc operational and financial analysis as required by business functions

**Skills & Experience**

To be successful, you will possess
- A self-starting, enquiring mind to problem solve and think commercially
- A degree in a Accounting, Corporate Finance, Commerce, Economics or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in professional services or corporate investment role
- Experience in data analysis and financial modelling, strong analytical skills with and interest in fact finding
- Demonstrated ability to collect, organise and analyse information and data for decision making
- Beginner to intermediate Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills with interest in progressing to Advanced
- Exposure to property and development would be advantageous (but not essential)
