**The role**:
The Technical Test Lead collaborates closely with Test Manager(s) across different entities and Business Partners (e.g. Convergint, CBS France) and respective Test Analysts, to identify software and hardware defects, assess and trace system capabilities against defined requirements, and collaborate with relevant departments to address issues and the remediation and prompt turn-around of defects. In order to lead teams, it is required for you to fully understand the details and potentially assist the team in a hands-on manner.

**Job responsibilities**:

- Analyze system designs and solution requirements to determine suitable test scope and criteria.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and scenarios to validate specified system and device functionalities, features, and system requirements.
- Actively leads and participates in test team meetings, planning and reviews sessions.
- Documents and reports discovered issues and defects to relevant departments, collaborating on clarifications and driving respective resolutions. Provide regular updates on progress, issues, any encountered challenges - suggesting risk and issue mitigations.
- Maintain meticulous records of the testing process, ensuring required documentation is timely produced to the expected quality - aligned with applicable guidelines/procedures and Testing standards.
- Technically savvy and provide their required assistance to the team members where required to complete the assigned tasks.
- Assists the Test Manager in setting priorities and monitoring progress. Provides a level of experience in training and upskilling the testers in required tools and processes, helping them improve their skills and productivity.
- As the test lead within a team of approx. 4-8 test analysts, assists in test case execution and provides necessary guidance and support to the test analysts, ensuring required tools, access and knowledge are in place.

**Essential skills & experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years in the field.
- Proficiency in the creation, maintenance and updating detailed Test Plans, incl the ability to perform and support test execution as/when required.
- Proficient/expert level on test case development and defect management tools - e.g. MS Azure DevOps.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in minimizing defects in software releases.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing an assigned team for a specific Test Phases.
- Customer liaison experience, including witnessed testing.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to find effective resolutions.
- Ability to work fully on-site from the office, especially during test execution, as testing requires the use of various devices and there are restrictions on the movement of these devices.
- Flexibility to work occasionally outside regular hours for collaboration with global teams.
- Willingness to travel overseas.

**Desirable (optional)**:

- Experience in Transportation or related industry testing.
- Understanding basic concepts of payment card technologies.
- Past exposure facilitating customer witnessed testing with professionalism and proficiency.
- Test automation experience with tools like Selenium WebDriver, SpecFlow, FitNesse, JMeter, UL Brand Test Tool, etc.
