We have an exciting position for you to join the Onesky team based in Melbourne as a Software Release Manager. This $1.2 Billion project is the most complex transformation of an Air Traffic Management system in aviation history. OneSky will establish, commission and support a Civil Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS) and revolutionise existing Air Traffic Management technology.

A true once-in-a-generation opportunity to create a unified solution for the future Air Traffic Management needs. This high-profile project has the world watching in excited anticipation to see its success.

The core responsibility is to support the frequent software releases to the system of system level by managing the multiple level of release checkpoints compliant to the software configuration management plan. You will improve the automation of release management activities with the CICD pipeline to establish and maintain integrity and traceability (as build to as design) for all software deliverables across their entire life cycle.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Charge of extending the existing SCM and CICD pipeline with innovative solutions, continuous improvement, and a skilled workforce
- Interface closely with system engineers, software engineers and integration engineers, across a large spectrum of items (proprietary software, firmware, configurable test benches, simulation, COTS and tools) to enable software configuration management mechanisms
- Identify existing gaps, to propose solutions quickly and to coordinate their developments
- Design and lead the development of the extension of the CICD pipeline to support and automate the SCM processes and procedure
- Deliver on scripting and automating administration tasks like Python, Bash, PowerShell Managing the software changes & version control
- Support the activities of Status Accounting & Configuration Audits

**How about you?**
- Strong Experience with CI/CD methodologies, workflows, configuration management, and the corresponding tools
- Must have significant experience of SCM for large, complex, software-based systems
- Strong Experience with Configuration Management tools (Ansible, Puppet)
- Extensive experience of using UNIX/Linux operating systems
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to interact effectively with senior management, customers and partners
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strongly focused and self-motivated to overachieve goal
