**About the opportunity**

This drafting role reports to the Drafting Team Leader and is part of the MJH Operations team. In this highly rewarding role, your focus will be to prepare accurate drawings within specified timeframes in line with the customer’s requests and company standards. More specifically, your responsibilities will include:

- Accurate preparation of draft sales plans & working drawings that incorporates house siting’s, floor plans, elevations, internal drawings, plumbing and slab layouts
- Interacting with multiple internal stakeholders including project coordinators, estimators, colour selection consultants and permits team
- Production of construction drawings including reviews and amendments
- Problem solving construction and drafting related matters

**About you**

To be successful in this highly rewarding role you will demonstrate alignment to the purpose and core values of MJH and the NXT Group along with:

- Experience working in a residential home construction environment
- Minimum of 2 years producing drawings
- Understanding of the NCC and related construction practices
- Knowledge of current housing codes and regulations
- Ideally with proficiency in a 3D drawing program (training in ArchiCAD will be provided)
- A keen eye for detail and attention to accuracy with demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Organisational ability and initiative
