**Your new company**

This State Government department delivers essential financial and administrative services to protect the rights of South Australians. They are seeking an Advice Officer to join their dynamic team for 3 months.

**Your new role**

The role is responsible for helping members access the most appropriate advice service, gathering information on member accounts, helping implement the recommended advice and liaising with members as required.

Your duties will include:

- Taking inbound calls and making outbound calls to members e.g., speaking with members on the phone to book appointments for the IFS planners.
- Reception duties to greet members when they arrive for their appointments.
- Administration components for financial advisers including preliminary investigation and establishing member profiles in the financial planning software.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Current National Police Clearance
- Experience working with a superannuation fund or financial advisory practice
- Experience providing a member/customer focussed service
- Proven ability to work effectively under limited direction and supervision, identify priorities and respond receptively to change
- Experience providing support and disseminating agency knowledge and experience across multiple teams
- Sound knowledge of the financial advice process
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication and can deliver clear messages in both verbal and writing
