**Responsibilities**:

- Greet customers when they arrive
- Consult with mechanics about necessary repairs and possible alternatives to expensive work
- Provide customers with in-depth information about available aftermarket and OEM (original equipment manufacturer) part options
- Manage and oversee the workshop's workflow and scheduling
- Call customers to inform them of changes in service or to let them know their vehicle is ready for pick-up
- Quote and invoice private and Insurance customers

**Skills and Experience Requirements**:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Competent work skills and able to produce quality workmanship
- Reliable and punctual
- Good communication skills and ability to be a team player
- Great customer service skills
- Has working knowledge and high regard for OH&S
- Mechanical trade background - highly regarded

Our client possesses over 30 years of industry experience, servicing and repairing all makes and models of vehicles including engine and suspension work. They are a preferred mechanical repairer for insurance companies in Sunshine and the surrounding suburbs. To ensure optimum customer service, our Client us hiring a Service Advisor to work one-on-one with their clients. Your job will be to advise customers on the available parts and service options when their vehicles need repairs. They are counting on you to develop extensive product knowledge and to serve all customers with a friendly smile and honest guidance. They offer in-house training and support as well as a competitive compensation.
