**The role**

An exciting opportunity to join our fast paced and high performing Non-Custody Operations team.

This role oversees the delivery of services, leadership & management of two teams, establishing and building out the newly formed SMSF service, process improvement and managing operational risk.

The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure effective service outcomes are achieved through a seamless client interaction, which aim to exceed the expectations of our clients.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Provide daily oversight and management to teams including query management on the Zendesk platform
- Continuously build the expertise, capabilities, and spirit of the team; leverage both to achieve objectives and drive results
- Assume ownership of the HUB24 culture, consistently lead by example, set expectations, and hold people accountable through open communication and regular feedback to enable their performance and development.
- Ensure effective recruitment, performance management, training and change management practices are consistently applied
- Oversee work allocation to ensure delivery against service levels and drive a seamless client service experience
- Oversee client enquires, escalations & complaints, proactively pursue “service recovery” action where normal processes have failed.
- Answer technical enquiries from a Product and Service perspective.
- Ensure operational controls and obligations are being delivered regularly and repeatedly such that various audit and reports are clean and demonstrate a well-controlled environment.
- Fully support the audit process at year-end through timely delivery of data and other requests from auditors
- Ensure documentation is current, accessible to team and facilitate the introduction of new processes where appropriate.
- Participate in management discussions, provide feedback on operational matters and work with internal teams to achieve group goals, objectives and service levels.
- Develop service initiatives to deliver seamless customer interactions and experiences and drive solutions to improve efficiency and reduce risk

**Key requirements**:

- 7+ Years experience in Wealth Management Operations including 3+ Years within an Administration leadership position.
- Experience in reporting including tax
- A good level of knowledge within SMSFs
- Experience managing large teams and possess strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate people to strive to achieve optimal outcomes
- Excellent stakeholder management skills both internally and externally
- A calm and considered demeanour when working under pressure to meet deadlines or deal with difficult situations
- A continual improvement mindset and a desire and willingness to strive to achieve optimal results
- Commitment to high standards of client service with a balanced focus on risk and commercial priorities of the business
