**Your new role**
- Assist with assessment of Water Resource Plans against the requirements in Chapter 10 of the Basin Plan, including leading on assessment components and overseeing the work of others
- Undertake critical analysis of state legislation, with consideration against Basin Plan requirements, using a tailored and standardised report requirements and template
- Be responsible for leading the assessment of a specified (overall) water resource plan(s) and lead specific parts of other water resource plans led by others
- Engage in and contribute to leadership activities

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Have an understanding of water policy related to the Basin Plan and Water Act
- Have experience in or understanding of legislative assessment
- Environmental/biological science and/or natural resource management qualifications
