**The Role**

McIlwain are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Administrator to drive the reconciliation process within the Accounts Payable/Finance team under the direction of the Accounts Manager.

**Responsibilities**
- Management of AP mailboxes
- Ensure invoices and authorisations are processed in an accurate and timely manner.
- Ensure reconciliation of creditors statements are performed monthly and take appropriate action for reconciling items.
- Processing of credit card transactions.
- Ensure AP procedures are documented and reviewed on a periodic basis.
- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of internal controls.
- Escalate accounts payable issues and exceptions to Accounts Manager in a timely manner.
- Prioritisation of workload to ensure requirements are met.
- Preparing weekly and EOM payment run proposal for review and verification by the Accounts Manager.

You will have the following key attributes:

- Demonstrated 5+ years’ experience within an Accounts Payable function.
- Strong interpersonal skills matched with the ability to build meaningful relationships at all levels of the business.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
