Finance Officer

This is a full-time role however the business is open to employing someone on a pro-rata basis with flexible hours/ days to suit family/lifestyle requirements.

The 4C Group is a fast-growing national company specialising in container logistics staffing with over 600 team members. We work with globally recognised cold storage clients and major food distribution/retail operations. With year-on-year growth exceeding 30%, we are expanding and seeking a Finance Officer who will play a critical role in our payroll-driven business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the payroll team with processing weekly payroll including compliance with state employment laws, payroll tax, superannuation, etc.
• Manage Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable (full cycle).
• Daily reconciliation of multiple entity bank accounts and company credit cards.
• Resolve financial queries with internal/external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate financial records; classify and record all transactions correctly.
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, annual reports (income statements, balance sheets, cash flows).
• Set up new client files & conduct credit checks.
• Provide excellent service to clients and suppliers.
• Support bookkeeping and other ad-hoc finance tasks as needed.

About You:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in finance/accounting, with strong payroll experience.
• Exposure to inter-entity transactions.
• High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Good time-management and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and able to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
• Intermediate/advanced Excel.
