**Associate Director, Global Markets (India and Middle East)**

- Permanent ongoing role based in Sydney or Regional NSW

**About the Role**

The Global Markets team, within the Trade and Investment Group, are the NSW Government’s international experts. We coordinate the State’s whole of government international trade and investment strategy for key markets based on our deep understanding of market conditions and relationships with governments, business chambers and business. This role is responsible for delivering against the NSW Government’s trade, investment and international engagement objectives.

**About You**

You have tertiary qualifications in international business, government, public policy, law, commerce, finance, or other relevant disciplines.

You have experience working in or with India and/or the Middle East

You have experience working in trade promotion or investment attraction or private sector experience, particularly in NSW’s priority trade and investment sectors of technology, agri-food, medtech and life sciences, clean economy and resources, and defence and aerospace.

You have experience supporting and managing complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
