Anglicare has grown to be one of Queensland’s most trusted providers of ‘all of life services’ across home and residential aged care, mental health, youth support, disability, homelessness, foster care and family. Today we have over 3,000 dedicated and experienced staff, supported by more than 400 generous volunteers, who are there every day for Queenslanders.

**The Role**

The overall purpose of the Practice Lead is to support Anglicare’s strategic goal of “a best practice, integrated clinical and care governance system that aligns with progressive government reforms beyond clinical care”, by working within Anglicare Services to provide on-the-ground facilitation and support, specifically around the area of Infection Prevention and Control.

Some of the duties of the role include...

- Facilitate and deliver best practice and evidence-based models to support clinical and care governance
- Contribute to the development and design of evidence-informed, client-centred frameworks, practice models, and policy directions.
- Develop work plans based on organisational implementation plans to support Services in adopting best practice and evidence-informed initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of key practice procedures and guidelines to support compliance and improved practice.
- Provide professional, partner-focused facilitation and expertise to Group Managers and Service Managers to support the implementation of initiatives to improve outcomes for clients.
- Engage and support Group Managers and Service Managers to adopt and embed new models and approaches.
- Partner with Services to translate frameworks, policies, and guidelines into practice with the adoption of consistent standards, processes, and systems in line with regulatory framework/s and reform agendas.

**Ideal Experience & Skillset**
- Degree in Health, Human Services, or field relevant to practice specialty.
- Postgraduate qualification in one of the above areas or currently studying (desired).
- Demonstrated experience in facilitating the translation of research and evidence-based best practice models/approaches into everyday practice.
- Highly developed practice skills, analytical thinking, and people development skills.
- In-depth understanding of government legislation and the reform agenda.

**Role Specific Requirements & Credentials**
- Current National Police Certificate - Or ability to attain.
- Current Blue Card (Working with Children) - Or ability to attain.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance - Or ability to attain.
- Current QLD Drivers License - Some Travel Required.
