Organisational Development Specialist

As we continue to expand our teams, we have a newly created role for an Organisational Development Specialist to join Southern Cross Care (NSW & ACT) on a permanent full - time basis.

Reporting to our Organisational Development Manager and part of a wider team of three Learning Designers, you will be responsible for creating and supporting the use of fit - for - purpose tools, strategies and frameworks to boost the organisations culture, capacity, providing accurate and timely information to key stakeholders.

**Key Responsibilities include**:

- Work closely with the Learning & OD Team and key stakeholders to lead the identification of future strategic and operational workforce requirements, and ensure these are integrated into existing OD and Learning frameworks, processes, and tools
- Design, develop, project manage and deliver organisation wide talent management and talent development initiatives
- Coach and support ‘front line’ managers to improve the engagement and retention of their teams
- Drive efforts to ensure workforce capability plans continue to meet organisational needs
- Take responsibility for maintaining competency frameworks
- Facilitate effective job design by developing evidence-based systems and processes that support career roadmaps and succession planning
- In conjunction with the Organisational Development Manager and Head of People and Culture, lead the refresh of our performance development and review program

**Selection Criteria**:

- Australian Citizenship or Permanent residency essential (We do not offer sponsorship for this position)
- Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management / Organisational Development or similar
- 5 years plus experience in an Organisational Development role within a mid to enterprise scale environment
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing talent development and talent management initiatives in complex organisations
- Strong experience building and nurturing strategic relationships with stakeholders at various levels fostering partnerships and alignment with organisational objectives
- Skilled in managing complex organisational changes, facilitating smooth transitions and fostering positive employee experience
- Prior involvement in the development and execution of strategies to improve operational efficiency and overall organisational performance is highly regarded
