**Job Title**:Disability Support Worker

**Location**:Canberra and Surrounding Areas

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team at Glamour Care Services. In this role, you will provide direct, high-quality care and support to our clients, promoting their independence and ensuring health and well-being is our priority. You'll work collaboratively within a supportive team to ensure our participants receive the best supports.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide personal care assistance and Domestic tasks
- Assist with transport to appointments and shopping
- Encourage social interaction and participation in community activities
- Facilitate access to community resources
- Maintain a safe and respectful environment for participants

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of a Certificate III or IV in Disability or Mental Health
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Current Australian Driver’s License
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Completed NDIS Workers Orientation Module
- Comprehensive Car Insurance
- Car Registration
- Completed Infection control certificate

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: From $41.76 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week

Schedule:

- Afternoon shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Shift work
- Weekend availability

Supplementary Pay:

- Penalty rates

**Experience**:

- Working with people with disabilities: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- First Aid Certification (required)
- Working with Children Check (required)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (required)
- National Police Certificate (required)
- Driver Licence (required)

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
