Our client is a growing apparel retailer with both brick and mortar and a strong Ecommerce presence, with an opportunity for an experienced Social Media Manager to join their team.

Reporting into the Head of Creative, with 1-2 direct reports, this role will be responsible for the Social Media strategy, with a focus on organic, brand and influencer partnerships, channel growth and optimisation.

This role will suit someone that enjoys working on creative campaigns, that can be hands-on, yet strategic in their thinking and wants to take ownership over organic social.

Key responsibilities include:

- Growth of their organic social channels and community
- Strategic understanding of all social channels to push the boundaries
- Map out a comprehensive social marketing plan and drive strategies that are proven by testing and metrics
- Compile reports for management showing return on investment
- Lead the development of content strategies and set measurable goals for constant review
- Identify and facilitate PR opportunities and partnerships
- Create a regular content publishing schedule across all channels
- Develop relevant content topics to reach target customers
- Monitor, listen and respond to users in a social way while cultivating leads and sales
- Liaise with the digital hub and agencies on digital marketing strategies
- Support new store openings by developing launch activities, aligning with shopping centres to drive localised brand opportunities, and initiating foot traffic driving opportunities
- Develop photo shoot concepts for organic content creation in conjunction with the team and attend these shoots
- Lead, coach and mentor the team
- Analyse campaigns and translate anecdotal or qualitative data into recommendations and plans for revising social media, content marketing, SEO and social advertising campaigns
- Influencer/talent liaison, development of strong ongoing partnerships and manage execution with excellence

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- 5 + years experience in Social Media
- Previous experience in Fashion or Retail essential
- Excellent knowledge of social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook etc
- Understanding of social media KPIs
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously, yet collaboratively

You will work within a collaborative team environment, with a competitive salary package that includes an annual incentive component.

Must have permanent working rights in Australia to be considered.
