The Atticism has become the ‘go to’ agency for those looking to break free from traditional PR methods. We are leading spokespeople against the widespread use of vanity metrics in PR and were one of the first agencies to promote the dissolution of the traditional press release.

**About this position...**
The Atticism is currently seeing an experienced PR Account Manager (AM) to assist with their AU clients out of our SYDNEY office (Waterloo).
The role is full time, but we do offer WFH days every Monday and Friday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays are in the office. We offer a shorter workday (8-3 or 9-4), but all staff are paid for 38 hours per week.
We are lucky enough work with some of Sydney's most amazing clients and we always go over and above to make our clients feel like we're an extension of their team. We want to allow every staff member to express their creativity and encourage individuality, open communication and flexibility.
**To be considered for this role, ideally you**:
- Have a minimum 3 years experience in public relations in SYDNEY.
- Have knowledge of the media and journalists that are relevant to certain sectors.
- Have experience in the restaurant, F&B PR sector.
- Have demonstrated experience running client accounts from onboarding to reporting, strategy to execution etc.
- You MUST be able to work autonomously, be the sole point of contact for clients and work effectively and efficiently.
The AM hat sits within the wider Accounts Team and acts as the day-to-day contact for our clients and the media. The AM reports directly to the Senior Account Manager (SAM) and the AM will work closely with the SAM to develop new client proposals and audit existing client’s strategy progression.
The AM is responsible for preparing creative client strategies and proposals, pitching concepts to clients during face-to-face presentations, managing the day to day running of client accounts and developing effective, meaningful relationships with key media.
**We expect the person in this role to have**:
- A Happy SAM who is not stuck in the day-to-day running of client accounts.
- Extremely happy clients with a monthly feedback rating of 4+.
- An energetic approach to client accounts, always suggesting ways to improve results,
- Consistent referrals from clients due to works well done,
- Repeat sales from clients who are so happy they want more,
- Referrals from happy clients,
- A strong, personal, frank and effective relationship with clients,
- A strong and personal relationship with key media across various sectors,
- Regular face to face conversations with your clients,
- A reputation for being creative, effective and energetic.
- Compliance with effective company policy, increasing efficiency and productivity.
**Tasks involved in this role include**:
- Attend weekly AM Team Meetings, following the agenda exactly, and is prepared with relevant information and feedback.
- Lead the day-to-day activities on client accounts and drives accounts forward,
- Work with the SAM to develop creative ideas for new client proposals.
- Keep in touch with clients via comprehensive, personalised and intentional weekly updates (in line with the Weekly Update guide here) to provide regular feedback on their account,
- Propose creative amendments or additions to client strategies to the SAM in order to make client strategies more effective or to gain higher results,
- Work to re-sign all clients, always being aware of contract end dates,
- Work with the SAM to re-sign clients by outlining clear benefits to the client in their doing so,
- Understand client budgets and operates within them,
- Use company targets as a firm, hard rule and works to exceed them,
- Stay in tune with market trends and new industry methods to ensure we are ahead of the game,
- Keep the SAM informed on what is happening within client accounts and flags any potential issues in the weekly AM Team Meetings, or as they arise
- Track campaign timelines and provide a mid-campaign summary report to the SAM to highlight strengths and weaknesses of the current campaign and implement strategies to resolve if required,
