The Training and Events Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, administering, and delivering IIA-Australia’s suite of professional development activities.

This role provides an opportunity to be the link between member events and the PD programs to ensure coordinated delivery of IIA-Australia’s professional development program.

**Job structure**: full-time with 2 days work from home option

**What can you expect in day-to-day activities?**
- Assisting with the member enquiries about training courses, webinars, and member meetings.
- Provide administrative support for courses/events delivery including organising and fulfilling requirements for the delivery and associated activities.
- Track expenditure on facilitators fees, travel, accommodation, and suppliers and identify initiatives to reduce costs.
- Manage and host Zoom/Teams sessions for the courses and events.
- Maintain the CRM system and website about the training courses/events/webinars.

**Essential **selection criteria**
- At least 2 years of experience in a related role
- Ability to think on your feet to react positively to changing situations
- Customer focused to respond to the needs of members
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal - Ability to articulate the benefits of training courses to a range of stakeholders
- A team player (across a small office environment)
- Intermediate MS Office 365 experience
- The right to live and work in Australia

**Desirable** **criteria**
- Previous experience in training and or event coordination
- Experience in a membership-based organisation
- Previous experience in using CRMs
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

**Salary**: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
