**About the role**:
We are seeking a Mortician to join our Lidcombe Operations location to support our funeral operations by providing best practice in the preparation and presentation of deceased.

**Duties**:

- Support funeral operations by providing best practice in the preparation and presentation of deceased persons
- Encoffin and present the deceased to InvoCare standards and according to any special family requests
- Provide assistance to the Embalmer
- Accurately complete mortuary registration and checking procedures
- Maintain, clean and sterilise mortuary facilities and equipment
- Perform coffin/casket trimming and engraving
- Organise time efficiently and monitor daily work flow
- Monitor stock levels and prepare orders as directed

**Skills and Experience**:

- Ability to provide exceptional customer services at all levels
- Ability to effectively communicate
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Current Full NSW Drivers Licence
- Mortuary Technician’s course is highly regarded
- In a fit state of physical and psychological health to be able to adequately perform the role
