**About CDK Stone and the Role**

CDK Stone has been importing stunning natural stone from the likes of Italy, Spain, Turkey, and Brazil for over 35 years. With branches in five states of Australia and two locations in New Zealand, CDK Stone has become the leader in the Australian Stone industry. Our focus is on premium projects offering a premium range of marbles, granites, and quartzite to transform kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor spaces alike. In addition to our range of premium stone, we also provide high-quality tools, equipment, and machinery to the stone industry.

Our success is not only due to our high-end products and service, but also our ability to train, support, and develop people from outside the industry. We are now looking for a Receptionist to provide service to high-end residential homeowners, Architects and Stonemasons in person, and over the phone.

In this role you will:

- Be the first point of contact for Interior Designers, Architects, and Stonemasons, providing them with outstanding customer service in the showroom or over the phone.
- As you learn about the industry, engage with the likes of architects and homeowners to help them identify a beautiful piece of stone that will eventually become a stunning feature piece in a luxury home.
- Provide support to the Tools & Equipment team by helping Stonemasons find the right tools for their situation.
- Coordinate administrative tasks which may include handling payments or photographing stone slabs.
- Be a key contact for Stonemasons who call in for help with their machinery. You will provide them with service and help schedule a CDK Stone Technician to go out on site to fix their machine.
- Maintain the showroom by ensuring it’s clean, presentable and amenities are stocked.

- You’ll have regular check-ins to track your progress and be provided with the opportunity to take your career in a number of directions such as sales, customer service or operations.

**About You**
- You might currently be working in a customer service role in retail or hospitality, or perhaps you’ve been on a career break and are looking to ease back into the workforce. Regardless of your background, one thing you know for sure is that you love meeting people and having meaningful conversations that build genuine, lasting relationships.
- You can bring energy and initiative to this role, you’re someone who knows how to manage your own time. When the day slows downs, you speed up - you can scan a room and find a list of tasks to add to your to-do list to keep you busy.
- While you’ve enjoyed the customer service aspects of your previous roles, for this next step, you’re looking for a company to kickstart your career in.
