**The opportunity**

As an Apprentice Maintenance Fitter, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop valuable skills in mechanical maintenance, equipment repair, and troubleshooting. As well as:

- Assist maintenance technicians in performing preventive maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
- Learn to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Participate in equipment repairs and installations under the supervision of experienced technicians.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
- Learn to use hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and other equipment safely and effectively
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues
- Attend training sessions and educational courses to expand your knowledge and skills in maintenance and engineering
- Collaborate with team members to support production goals and minimise downtime.

**About You**
- Strong mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills.
- Prior experience in maintenance or mechanical work is a plus but not required.
