RMS Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of high quality switchboards. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter or A Grade Electrician with switchboard experience to join our team.

**Job Description**:
As an electrical fitter or A grade electrician you will be responsible for wiring up switchboards, copper works and site works. You will need to have proven ability of manufacturing switchboards to drawings.

About the role:

- Supervise and teach apprentices that are working along side you
- Follow and organise you manufacturing space
- Ensure the quality and accuracy of the work you produce (both in the workshop and on site)
- Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety
- Ensure work is being produced to comply with all relevant regulations and standards
- Collaborate with the workshop supervisor to ensure switchboards are built to specifications, drawings and to our workshop standards

About you:

- Qualified electrical fitter or A grade electrician with switchboard manufacturing experience (must hold either a switchgear workers licence or electrical licence)
- Knowledge of electrical switchgear
- Experience in workshop environment
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Understanding of switchboard drawings, technical manuals and equipment supplier documents
