With a brilliant team across Sunshine Coast, Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold Coast, we are there to help our Participants to achieve their goals to live a fulfilling life. **About the Role**

We are currently recruiting casual Support Workers to join our team to provide quality support to our Participants in **the Redland Bay area**. Your work is based in a Participant house or purpose-built Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Positions available:

- In Home support - 2 - 4-hour shifts (Monday, Wednesday & Friday)
- Supported Independent Living (SIL) - 8-hour shifts including sleepovers from Monday to Sunday (**Female support worker**)

**Support Needs**:

- Understand the needs, goals, and daily activities of the Participants.
- Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to support Participants in their daily routines.
- Prompting assistance: personal care, meal preparation and managing appointments
- Physical assistance required with domestic duties and other tasks as required
- Develop meaningful and professional relationships with Participants and families.
- Community access

**Your skills and experience include**:

- Prior experience supporting Participants with disabilities highly desirable
- Relevant nationally recognised qualification highly desirable
- Experience in Mental Health and Dementia
- Must have a Queensland driver's licence and own reliable transport
- Current Paid employee Blue Card (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current Paid employee Yellow Card/NDIS Worker Clearance (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Current First Aid & CPR (or willing to obtain before employment)
- NDIS 'Worker Orientation' module (or willing to obtain before employment)
- COVID 19 Infection Control certificate (or willing to obtain before employment)
- Full Australian working rights
- Smart phone with internet access
- Proof of vaccination against COVID-19 (2 doses required)
- Two current (within the past 2 years) professional references from a supervisor will be required
