The Commonwealth Games - an international, multi-sport event involving athletes from the 72 member nations of the Commonwealth - is coming to Victoria in 2026

Millions worldwide will watch the thriving regional centres of Geelong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Gippsland and Shepparton host a jam-packed schedule of 20 sports, nine para sports, the Games ceremonies and festival program that together will showcase the best of Regional Victoria.

The Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games Organising Committee (Victoria 2026) will deliver the Games. Together with the State of Victoria, the Commonwealth Games Federation and Commonwealth Games Australia, it is tasked with organising a world-class event for athletes, spectators, locals and the Commonwealth of Nations.

**The role**:
The Event & Activation Manager will be responsible for the implementation and activation of experiential marketing and spectator experience initiatives, both digital and physical, leading up and throughout the Games time. Working alongside the Director, Experience & Activations, you will support the execution of the strategy for the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games Mascot, which is one of the most visible and commercial elements of the Games. You will also support the execution of the launch the Victoria 2026 Countdown Clock, which will be a critical awareness tool for the Games for years to come

**About you**:

- Proven experience developing and executing activations or events within a sport, major event or entertainment context.
- A solutions focused approach with the ability to work in a challenging and changing environment.
- Ability to manage a budget and source and manage external agencies.
- Demonstrated experience in working across multiple projects and delivering high quality work while meeting tight deadlines.
