Community Gathering Facilitator

Our ideal candidate has strong communication skills, can think on their feet, and is comfortable working in dynamic environments. If you have experience in customer service or event management, this could be the perfect opportunity to grow professionally and make a positive impact in your community.

About This Role
  • Co-ordinate and manage small group sessions, including setup and cleanup
  • Engage guests with friendly conversations, ensuring they feel included and at ease
  • Support group activities and facilitate conversation flow
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of events

As a facilitator, your primary goal is to create a welcoming environment for all attendees. You will work closely with our team to plan and deliver engaging events that cater to diverse needs and interests.

This role requires approximately 2 hours per session, including setup, structured session, and wrapping up afterwards. In exchange, you will receive a competitive flat monthly fee and a percentage of ticket sales from your hosted sessions.

Requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and adaptability
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic knowledge of First Aid and safety procedures (training provided if needed)

While prior experience in community engagement or event coordination is beneficial, it is not mandatory. What matters most is your ability to connect with others and provide a positive experience for all attendees.
