The purpose of PSGC is to build, drive and maintain a mature and corruption resistant culture that promotes disciplined ethical behaviour and professional practice through deterrence, education and system improvements. It reviews, determines compliance, and reports on issues relating to ethical and professional standards and behaviours.

The Ethical Standards - Assessment, Intelligence and Support Group - is responsible for the receipt and assessment of complaints relating to staff conduct which encompasses intelligence analysis and assessment and the provision of education and support to work units around the State.

To be successful in this role you will have:
Demonstrated experience in preparing and presenting high-quality intelligence briefs, undertaking the analysis of intelligence data and identifying emerging threats and trends to support and improve the QCS response to corruption risks.
Proven ability in building and sustaining intelligence capacity and capability or an anti-corruption function within a challenging and dynamic service delivery environment including establishing and implementing policies, systems, frameworks and processes.
Demonstrated strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, mentor and encourage staff including agile thinking and quality service delivery.
Demonstrated high level communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills, for liaising with internal and external stakeholders and staff at all levels to ensure coordinated and effective delivery of the intelligence function.
Demonstrated ability to contribute to an organisational and Command culture committed to continuous improvement.
Demonstrated experience and competency in the use of information management systems and analytical software including iBase, Analyst Notebook, Microsoft Word, Excel and Teams.
Ability to develop and facilitate intelligence-related training.
Highly desirable: a tertiary qualification in a relevant field, or extensive experience in an intelligence role in a criminal justice or corruption agency.
