Duty Manager

We have 5 Beverage outlets, Bistro 51, Café, Function Facilities, a variety of entertainment options, Courtesy Shuttle and more.

Due to the retirement of one of our long serving and highly respected Duty Managers (yes, we miss her already), we now have a new opportunity to increase our Duty Management Team, by recruiting **an experienced** full-time **Duty Manager**.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be proud to demonstrate our Ettalong Diggers values daily, particularly seeking to contribute to building a positive and passionate culture through **your effective leadership**.

**_**The role requires (key criteria): -_**
- A current NSW RSA and RCG Competency Card (both are mandatory)
- Certificate IV in Hospitality/Leadership or similar (desirable)
- First Aid and CPR Certifications (mandatory / willing to obtain prior)
- Extensive operational experience including in Beverage and Gaming
- The ability to provide detailed reports
- The ability to develop strong working relationships, whilst at times being a great negotiator
- Sound computer literacy skills
- The software packages used at the Club in this role are Ebet for Gaming, Time Target for Time and Attendance, Humanforce for rostering, Enterprise Risk Manager (ERM) for reporting
- The ability to work on a 4-week rotating roster with early starts, mid-shifts, and close shifts - we ask for flexibility regarding days off
- Public holidays, school holiday periods, Christmas, and New Year
- Be physically fit and be able to manoeuvre heavy items at times
- Great communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ettalong Diggers maintains a Board approved mandatory vaccination policy for all team members, and therefore it is a requirement to be fully vaccinated (3 doses) against COVID-19
- A current and clear National Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- A current and clear AML Check (or willingness to obtain)

- Compliance with the relevant Acts (Registered Clubs Act; Liquor Act; Food Act and Food Handling; RSA; RCG and Gaming Regulations)
- Excellent conflict management skills
- You’ll be an excellent motivator, leader and have a hands-on approach ensuring that you will always lead by example
- Ensure that our entire Club operations run smoothly each day
- Maintaining consistently high standards of professional conduct and work performance across all aspects of your role
- Professionally presented with excellent grooming and presentation standards
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and thrive on working as part of a team, in a fast-paced environment
- Be an excellent communicator; organised and have perfected the art of time management
- You are someone that can hold those difficult conversations
- Your own reliable mode of transport to get you to and from work _(due to the requirement to work on a rotating roster)_

Previous experience in the Club industry is an advantage, however, is not necessarily essential (Hotel and/or Resort experience will be reviewed). Your ability to fit in with our **positive and passionate culture** is our top priority, as we value your attitude and commitment most of all
