**General Description**

The Warehouse Supervisor is part of a management team whose primary function is to provide highly accessible leadership, supervision and support to warehouse team personnel. Promotes team development and a safe workplace. Ensure resource planning and utilization throughout the supply chain is efficient and effective. Drive compliance with standard operating procedures/policies and take strong steps in continuous improvement.

**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Warehouse Team Leader, will be responsible for the effective operation of the day-to-day warehouse functions with a strong sense of leadership and the ability to lead by example, reporting to headquarters. Will lead a team of 4-5 warehouse staff.

**Your responsibilities will include.**

1. leading and managing the day-to-day operations of the team in compliance with deadlines and quality standards

2. Mentoring, developing and training warehouse staff to ensure a diverse, high performing team.

3. Leading the team by example, proactively helping with general warehouse duties and coordinating the day-to-day operations of the warehouse.

4. Comply with company systems, seek improvements to systems/processes, optimize workflow and implement.

5. Support the recruitment (when required), performance management and career development planning of warehouse staff.

6. Comply with laws, regulations and policies in the workplace.

**To be successful in this role you'll have**:
1. Proven track record in people management with 2-3 years of experience in team leadership and related warehouse work.

2. Strong team building and people development skills.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively lead a team and work with peers.

4. High level of attention to detail.

5. Forklift license and experience preferred.

6. Chinese speaker/Chinese in Australia is preferred.

**Salary**: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
