**The role**

In this newly created role overseeing HSEQ for our plant and logistics yard, warehouse, and workshop you’ll be pivotal in establishing work practices, safety management systems and safe work procedures with a key focus on governance. You'll take responsibility for all aspects of safety management during transition to our new Avalon site.

**Your every day**

This role will see you take responsibility for:

- SMS management
- Audits
- Reporting
- Plant and facilities inspections
- Incident management
- Subcontractor management
- Reporting
- Training

**Who are you?**

Joining us from a background in safety, you understand the importance of active engagement in developing and maintaining a strong safety culture. You love interacting with people and form strong working relationships with ease. You’ll come to us with:

- Extensive experience in safety critical environments, either site supervision or HSEQ
- Familiar with the construction industry
- Demonstrable written communication skills
- Cert IV in WHS
- Driver’s license is essential
- Previous experience in maintenance workshops or with an equipment manufacturer will be highly regarded.
