Troocoo Government are currently aiding in the recruitment of a Delivery Manager (A08) to join the team at large Queensland State Government Statutory Authority. The Delivery Manager will support the Project Acceleration Officer program of work that is driving their current whole of business transformation.

This contract opportunity will be for 12-month full-time fixed term period, based within the Brisbane CBD.

**The Role**
As the Delivery Manager you will:

- Lead and direct enterprise-wide projects while ensuring adherence to time and budget constraints.
- Establish and oversee project governance, strategic focus, and operations.
- Be a key representative for the project in aspects of stakeholder relations, providing authoritative advice to members of the team, and providing ongoing advocacy for the project.
- Prepare key submission, briefs and reports pertaining to the planning and implementation of given projects.
- Conduct risk analyses to identify and manage potential issues that may jeopardise compliance with legislation, departmental strategies, policies, standards, and systems.
- Facilitate the design and development of workshops with stakeholders, staff, and customers as to promote a continuous improvement agenda from teams across the organization.
- Coordinate, monitor and evaluate project finalisation and, where applicable, strategies to support transition into a new BAU.
- Further duties as directed.

**The Requirements**
To be successful in the role as a Delivery Manager you would have the following
**highly** desirable experience/qualifications:

- Prince2 or Agile qualifications.
- Experience in the use of project management tools (e.g. JIRA etc).
- Practical experience in benefits realisation plans for systems projects.
- An understanding of the Queensland Government Project Assessment Frameworks (PAF).
- Navigates ambiguity, leads change, and champions innovative ideas and solutions.
- A proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget and fit for purpose.
