The Defence Industry in Australia is experiencing continual growth and investment which means an array of opportunities are available to enter this demanding and expanding industry.

We currently have an immediate need for Drafters in various roles and disciplines including:

- Structural
- Piping
- Layout
- Electrical

We are looking for Drafting professionals with varied experience, Kinexus is supporting a well-established Naval company to help them grow an already diverse design team. The opportunities allow for people seeking a career to learn, grow and develop their skills. If you are an experienced Drafter or someone looking for your first opportunity, we are keen to hear from you.

***As mentioned, we are looking for people with varying experience including but not limited to**:

- Diploma of Engineering (Technical) or equivalent industry experience (Degree qualified applicants are also encouraged to apply)
- Drafting or Design experience using CAD 2D or 3D packages
- Intermediate to advanced experience of Microsoft Excel
- Preparation and maintenance of technical documents
- Reporting again project requirements
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Managing multiple requirements
- Ability to work to meet deadlines

If you are looking for contract opportunities, Kinexus pays an hourly rate on a fortnightly basis. These rates will vary depending on experience.
