**Your new company**

This government health department based in the southern suburbs of Perth, are seeking an enthusiastic allrounder to step into a Facilities Officer position. You will be engaged on an initial temporary contract for a 1-2 month period, working full-time hours and paid on a competitive hourly rate.
**Your new role**

As the Facilities Officer, you will be responsible for:

- Receiving and screening visitors in the department, issuing site passes as required
- Assisting the facilities manager in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotes for goods and services
- Organising outside contractors and trades staff to attend repairs to buildings
- Managing processing of payments
- Updating and maintaining the internal database with site work reports and spend reports
- Managing the fleet of vehicles, including arranging fuel cards and maintaining log books for all vehicles

**What you'll need to succeed**

In order to be considered for this role, you will demonstrate:

- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent IT skills with experience using MS Office Suites
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
