VeiraMal Consulting is seeking an experienced Office Manager to join our clients' business in Williamstown North. Our client, Chai Spice, is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well in a team, with strong communication skills.
The role of Office Manager is responsible for the full operation of office management activities at our company. The incumbent in the role is expected to operate at a consistently high standard ensuring core administrative systems and relevant personnel are operating effectively and efficiently to adequately meet the needs of our growing business.
**Aim of Role**:
- The aim of this role is to contribute to the overall success of the business by ensuring the efficient running of the office operations on a day-to-day basis.
- To work with relevant staff and management to define and implement a set of standards for office management and related administrative procedures.
**Scope of the role**:
The scope of this role is broad, encompassing the full scope of activities required to support the smooth running of our corporate office environment.
**Main Duties**:
**Manage general office administration**
- Contributing to the development and evaluation of office operations, including setting priorities and service quality benchmarks.
- Distributing office space, equipment, and staff resources efficiently to meet operational needs.
- Delegating tasks to team members and overseeing their work to ensure effective performance.
- Managing and maintaining office financial records and administrative files.
- Communicating with professionals and stakeholders to support smooth office operations and resolve any issues.
- Overseeing the maintenance and availability of office supplies and equipment.
- Making sure the workplace adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Verifying that all procedures and tasks align with current legislation, company policies, and government requirements.
- Handling HR functions including recruitment, staff appraisals, training, payroll processing, promotions, and employee supervision.
**Hours of work**:
This is a full-time role where the employee will be expected to work at least 38 hours per week. The shifts required to be worked may vary from time to time.
**Skill Required**:
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize, set goals, and a determination to achieve them
- Strong verbal and written skills
- Work well under pressure and with a team
**Remuneration**:
$70K-80K + Superannuation
