Alzheimer's Queensland is looking for a new Home Care Manager wanting to make a difference to the lives of Queensland's older people.

AQ is Australia's largest dementia association and a leading provider of community care services in Southeast Queensland. AQ's Home Care team provides a restorative and wellness approach to enable older people to remain at home and engaged with their communities longer.

With steady growth in the sector, we are now seeking a Home Care Manager to oversee, lead and build all aspects of our community services in QLD. The Home Care Manager will manage the Home Care Packages (HCP) Program and the transition to Support at Home Program.

The Home Care Manager will manage teams that deliver services across Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast and Toowoomba. The role will be based at our head office in Upper Mt Gravatt. The role will be provided with a fully funded motor vehicle as it will involve some travel.

- Oversight of operational and financial performance across community care care specifically HCP programs
- Driving business growth opportunities
- Ensuring compliance standards and statutory obligations are met
- Drive innovation always focusing on continuous improvement
- Providing leadership whilst empowering your team to provide quality care

We are looking for an experienced and confident Home Care Manager with a proven track record when it comes to state management and business development. Other key criteria are:

- Demonstrated experience with successful operations in community aged care
- Strong business/commercial acumen - Ability to monitor and report on financial and operational objectives
- Ability to coach, mentor and manage teams
- Strategic thinking
- A consumer-focused approach
- Excellent communication skills - ability to build relationships

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelors degree in health related field and ability to demonstrate a solid knowledge of Community Aged Care
- Business related qualifications that would showcase your understanding key business principles
