**Test Lead - Initial 18mth Contract**

A new and exciting opportunity is now available to join our growing Applications Team as part of the large broader IT Team at Catholic Healthcare (CHL).

As the Test Lead, you will not have any direct reports, but you will be responsible for the end to end testing of systems using appropriate frameworks, tools and processes to reduce defects and maintain quality standards. You will lead the process and partner with key stakeholders in this "hands on" position.

Your extensive experience in a similar IT testing role, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively will aid in your success. Your highly developed written (documentation, user scripts etc ) and verbal communication skills together with your resilient, “can do” approach, and desire to achieve quality results, will be critical to your success in this integral position.
- Your days will include;_
- Develop & deliver a fit for purpose test environment, framework & activities
- Manage the implementation, ongoing maintenance/improvement & adherence of testing methods & standards
- Ensure testing requirements are scoped, planned, & managed effectively to assist achievement of project objectives
- Assist in the production and review of test deliverables ensuring IT changes are delivered into production in accordance with agreed standards
- Produce metrics to measure testing quality and progress
- Maintain testing & systems knowledge through training from peers & other internal/external sources
- Produce &publish comprehensive IT support documentation ensuring it is reflected within the IT Knowledge database
- Report on the performance of testing processes and procedures/need for improvement in addition to contributing to regular IT reporting
- The ideal applicant will have _5+ years’ experience in an IT testing role in addition to; _
- Proficient in Test Management techniques & in depth knowledge of all aspects of software testing
- Knowledge of and experience with test tools (including test automation)
- Sound understanding of the SDLC and testing techniques
- International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certified - desireable
- Knowledge of the Aged Care, Health, or related sector - desirable
- Knowledge of DevOps and its test management capability - desirable
- ITIL v4 Foundation certificate - desirable
- Ability to provide proof of Covid19 Immunisations - Essential
