**The day to day**
- Provide Tier 3 technical support for access core platforms and services.
- Manage vendor relationships, particularly concerning faults and integration deliverables.
- Offer technical leadership to junior engineers, operations, and business stakeholders.
- Act as a second-in-charge to the manager during their absence.
- Perform software and hardware upgrades, testing, and integration.
- Develop accurate engineering network design and testing documentation.
- Maintain test environments at production levels.
- Ensure best practices and supported software configurations are in used to reduce downtime.
- Monitor and analyse network performance metrics, providing optimisation recommendations.

- Years of experience in telecommunications, with extensive technical experience in areas such as 4G and 5G Mobile Network Technologies, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, Carrier Ethernet and more.
- Extensive experience in a telecommunications operations group responsible for Tier 2 fault diagnoses and troubleshooting.
- Experience in testing/proof of concept, internetworking design, and large-scale network environments.
- Ability to Design and develop products, services, and solutions to optimise the customer experience.
- Experience in liaising with middle and senior management.
