Lancomm is an experienced company working in the field of Telecommunication Construction. We are committed to maintaining the highest levels of integrity, service, and quality within the Telecommunications Industry.

We are looking for a hardworking, dedicated Construction Supervisor for immediate start to oversee the construction of Optical Fibre and Telecommunication civil works projects.

This position would suit a person with a knowledge of Telecommunication Infrastructure.

The Construction Supervisor will work to deliver optical fibre builds ranging from short metropolitan fibre tails, through to significant regional fibre builds.

The role may require some travel.

**Responsibilities include;**
- Manage, Supervise and Schedule the activities for Projects & Field Staff
- Manage the day to day work of our construction field Staff (Internal staff & Sub-contractors)
- Ensuring Telecommunication Pit, Pipe and Cabling infrastructure is installed to defined quality and safety standards
- Meeting Client Commitment dates
- Provide Daily updates on project performance
- Managing project variations
- Act as a point of contact for specific project implementations, managing expectations and communication with customers and other stakeholders.
- Cost effective construction methods
- OHS&E reviews, reports and implementation
- Assisting in the preparation of Project Completion Packs & Drawing of Asbuilt plans to ensure adequate hand-over documentation is provided at the completion of each project
- Complete Quality Assurance and WHS Audits on a regular basis to ensure continued improvement and compliance
- Training & Developing Workforce to meet industry standards
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and quotations as required

**To be successful in this role, you need to possess;**
- Positive CAN-DO attitude
- Strong Leadership & Organising skills.
- Extensive Knowledge of the Fibre Telecommunication Infrastructure installation process
- Australian Resident and Drivers licence are essential.
- Construction Induction (White Card) and a knowledge of WHS principles.
- Knowledge of Telstra duct network principles and processes
- First Aid
- The ability to work unsupervised and represent Lancomm in a professional manner
- Able to communicate with a variety of stakeholders, including local councils, utilities, community groups and landowners.
- Knowledge & experience in CAD, Visio, GIS is desirable.

**Salary**: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekend availability
