We’re looking for an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our skilled team in the manufacturing and testing of lifting and rigging equipment. **Based in Welshpool** and **working Monday to Friday**, this role is ideal for Maintenance Supervisors, Superintendents, or Workshop Leading Hands who thrive in hands-on environments but are ready to step into a leadership position with better work-life balance.

**Some of the key responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the manufacturing and testing operations
- Lead, coach, and develop your team including Team Leaders, Production Technicians.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Service, Warehouse and Supply Chain to align with priorities and inventory
- Work with the team to uplift productivity and efficiency while maintaining equipment service scheduling
- Ensure ongoing compliance with relevant standards (including NATA, DNV, ISO, HSE)
- Foster a positive, engaged workplace culture through daily communications, team development and performance recognition

**Some of the skills required**:

- Previous experience in Lifting & Rigging, Manufacturing and/or Distribution environment
- Team leadership and team development experience
- A current forklift ticket
- Ability to engage stakeholders and bring people on a journey
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience in a continuous improvement environment (including Lean and 6 sigma)
- Knowledge of heavy lifting and rigging product advantageous
- Exposure to NATA or similar desirable
