Homecraft Textiles, a rapidly growing dress fabric & home têxtiles retailer/wholesaler, is entering an exciting new era of expansion with the opening of our first permanently staffed, Custom-Built Fabric Warehouse/Distribution Centre. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor with exceptional organizational skills and strong leadership qualities to join us at this transformative stage.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with existing warehouse management experience to bring their skills to a rapidly growing business, creating meaningful contributions and becoming a key part of our success story from the ground up. As Warehouse Supervisor, you'll not only oversee daily operations but also drive the continuous improvement of our processes and systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Managing the picking and packing of orders in a timely and accurate manner.
- Supervising stock transport between shops.
- Utilizing barcoding and stock control systems to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Streamlining warehouse operations, optimizing procedures, and recommending improvements to current systems.
- Independently managing warehouse operations and leading a small team of 2-3 staff members.
- Offloading containers and packing shelves with new deliveries.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar management role.
- Exceptional organizational skills, with a proven track record in improving processes and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a team.
- In-depth knowledge of stock control systems.
- Strong computer literacy skills.
- Valid forklift operation certificates.
- The ability to work independently with mínimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
- Must be physically fit, ready and willing to work and able to lift up to 20 kgs independently.
- **Must have Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency**

- Warehouse management: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Order Picking Forklift Licence (preferred)
- Forklift Licence (required)
- Full Driver Licence (required)
- Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency (required)
