Our client is one of Australia’s leading financial services companies specialising in technology and leasing. They have a strong finance function in their Sydney Head Office of 15 staff and are seeking a bright and hard-working individual to further strengthen their team. Reporting to an energetic and honest manager this role will play a pivotal part in the ongoing success of the company and their relationships with clients.

**The Role**:
As the Finance Officer you will be focusing on but not limited to the following responsibilities:

- Daily receipting of payments
- Generating and posting invoices
- Processing fund payments to partners and 3rd parties
- Overall ownership of AR and AP processes
- Employee expenses
- Providing remittance advice and resolving errors
- Bank and GL reconciliations for various accounts
- Preparing accruals for month-end close
- Assisting with operational reports
- Assisting with process and standardisation projects

**Your Background**:
To become a valued member of the team, you will have the following skills and attributes:

- Less than 2 weeks’ notice
- Prior experience with both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
- Demonstrated reconciliations experience
- A good eye for detail
- Hard-working and eager to develop your skills
- Degree qualified is advantageous but not essential
- If successful must be willing to undergo a Police Check
