The division and team

Business Operations & Productivity provides support and administration services to the bank’s network to service our business customers.

Trade Finance is a very specialised Business product that requires a relatively technical approach to delivering the end-to-end customer solution that meets very specific customer needs whist managing risk for both the customer and the Bank

The Trade Finance Operations team is a specialised part of the Shared Services division providing support to the Bank’s Trade finance product offering. The Trade Finance Operations Team manages all Trade finance transactions.

As a Shared Services Officer you will be part of a small team that supports Equipment Finance and Trade Finance with all operational needs such as:
General administration, banking, reporting
Reception
Invoice validation and processing
End of day balancing
Processing of outpayments
Ensuring PPSR registrations are completed accurately

The team environment encourages individual development with supportive training and multi skilling. The importance of efficiency and accuracy is paramount in this role.

Administration experience (minimum 2 years)
Familiarity with manual processes
Excellent organisation and time management skills
Great communication skills
Enjoy supporting and being part of a team
Preferred knowledge and understanding of trade products and procedures relating to Import and Export Letters of Credit, Collections, Standby Letters of Credit and Guarantees, due date transactions, documentation, correspondence with overseas institutions and foreign payments, as well as foreign exchange products.
Preferred technical skills with developed expertise in ICC Uniform Rules for Collections URC 522, ISBP for the Examination of Documents under Documentary Credits 2007 revision for UCP 600 and ICC Uniform Rules for Bank-to-Bank Reimbursements under Documentary Credits URR 525.

Previous settlement or branch banking experience will be highly regarded. We are looking for someone who is keen to progress and build on their existing administration skills and want a career in the banking industry.
