**The Role**

Working alongside a team of Internal Communicators across Woolworths Group, you’ll be the key contact and partner for our Operational and Support teams, working across the Safety Platform to deliver key change and strategic communications across Woolworths Group. As part of the People Team, your duties may flex depending on the priorities of the business but your primary role will be supporting the Safety Platform. With no day looking the same, you’ll be part of a passionate, caring and innovative team that is shaping the future of Safety across Woolworths Group.

**What you’ll do**:
As an Internal Communications Specialist, you’ll work alongside a talented team of Internal Communicators who partner across the Woolworths Group to create better experiences for our team.
You’ll be the key communications contact and partner for our Safety Platform and work collaboratively across the Platform to deliver key change and strategic communications across Woolworths Group. As part of the People Team, your duties may flex depending on the priorities of the business but your primary role will be supporting the Safety Platform.

You’ll be responsible for creating compelling and simple messages that help our teams:

- Activate and embed the new Group-wide Safety Promise, ensuring it resonates to all our businesses and engages hearts & minds.
- Enable key change safety programs and deliver proactive and innovative communication plans in collaboration with stakeholders to support successful delivery.
- Work E2E within the safety delivery squads to enable their objectives with our businesses/teams.
- Provide counsel and advice for stakeholders on communication best practice, presenting communication approaches for review for all deployments.
- Be the main contact for Communications on Safety in the Internal Communications Chapter and support the Chapter through clear planning and engagement with the outcome of delivering all plans successfully.
- Communicate key safety messages, ensuring the Safety of our teams and customers is ‘always’ top of mind.
- Support leader messaging on key projects and updates
- Land key change programs that improve team experiencesYou’ll also be dedicated to continuously improving our processes and communications based on team feedback and providing valued communications advice to our support teams.

**What you’ll bring**
- Good stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and positively engage with others
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively across different initiatives of the Safety Platform within the people team
- Strong presentation skills
- Passion for safety, and motivated by the desire of the Groups ambition of going from Good to Great
- Have the drive and passion to grow and succeed
- Able to deal with ambiguity and partner to enable clarity with problem statements and desired outcomes
