This non for profit administrative organisation is seeking a Communications & Engagement Officer to effectively deliver the communication of activities, supporting services and products across various channels Australia wide.

Your new role As the Communications & Engagement Officer you will be responsible for managing the effective performance of your team in delivering promotional materials on the organisation’s brand, products, services, and events whilst building effective relationships with stakeholders, partners, and clients. This role includes:

- Design and develop social media strategies, media releases, website and program design, duration of newsletters and all supporting materials.
- Identify areas of improvement by seeking opportunities that maximise assets and increase performance
- Maintain and update all marketing collateral and promotional material in line with the organisation’s values
- Source and provide AV support and photography for the preparation, execution and post stages of events

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role you will be confident and accountable in managing a communications team through the implementation of various marketing initiatives and strategies, whilst being proficient in all communications and marketing programs utilised within the organisation.

Specific skills/qualifications:

- Understand the practices of technical communications programs including marketing software’s and content management systems
- Confidently represent the organisation with stakeholders, partners, members, and clients
- Experience in managing a dynamic communications team
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with attention to detail and ability to think critically and problem-solve
- Effective time management and organisational skills
