With a strong pipeline of work in Australia, we are looking for talented, curious, and committed consultants to join our growing Engagement and Social Planning Section. We have an opportunity for a **Communications and** **Engagement** **Consultant **in one of the following locations -** Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, or Sydney.** We partner with the broader Jacobs business to design, deliver and evaluate communications and engagement approaches for infrastructure, sustainability and environmental initiatives. We help our clients solve their most complex challenges in ways which consider stakeholder and community impacts, and seek to deliver positive environmental outcomes. We collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams across a range of markets including water, defence, energy, power and transport. **Your day-to-day** As an early to mid-career consultant, you will: - Prepare, deliver and evaluate stakeholder and community engagement plans - Prepare tailored communications for a range of channels, this may include Ministerial responses, community updates and notifications, briefing presentations and webpages - Coordinate and help facilitate engagement activities, in-person and online - Prepare outcome reports including an analysis of qualitative and quantitative outcomes - Build trusted relationships with a range of clients and internal project teams - Contribute to a positive team culture and participate in continual improvement - Collaborate with a range of technical specialists, from blue-sky thinkers to detailed orientated technical experts **Here’s What You’ll Need**: - A tertiary qualification in Communication, Marketing, Public Relations, Business, Social Science, Arts or related field. International Association for Public Participation certificate (desirable) - Ability to easily build relationships and engage with range of stakeholders - Excellent writing and editing skills and a consistent record in producing high quality communications - Strong organisational and problem-solving skills together with the capacity to be flexible and adaptable - A ‘can do’ attitude with an interest in continuous learning and improvement - An understanding of the increasing demand for engagement and social planning, and an appreciation of the vital role dedicated engagement specialists play - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Suite, particularly in the production of high-quality publications, presentations and tools **Jacobs.
